1. Anderby Creek

Anderby Creek is one of Lincolnshire’s best kept secrets, and is the perfect place to get away from the crowds and enjoy this secluded spot. Anderby Creek is a quiet hamlet with a beach that is backed by sand dunes. There is little to disturb the peace here which makes it the perfect spot for children wanting to create their masterpiece sandcastle, find their favourite shell to take home and treasure or find crabs in the rockpools.
2. Cleethorpes
48 mins drive from Mablethorpe Chalet and Caravan Park
Cleethorpes is the best of both worlds, with access to the busy town and a sandy beach within a 5-minute walk of each other, everything you might need is close by. If you want a snack or a hearty meal, there is a large selection of great places to grab a bite to eat. You can even have sea views whilst you enjoy your meal, as there is a fish and chip shop on the pier which comes highly recommended - a visit to the beach wouldn’t be complete without a taste of the seaside for your dinner.
3. SKEGNESS
44 min drive from Mablethorpe Chalet & Caravan Park
Skegness has long been one of the top seaside holiday destinations in the UK and has been welcoming staycationers for generations. There are more than the usual beach activities to keep you occupied on Skegness. With a theme park, amusement arcade, funfair and donkey rides – children won’t know what to do first!
4. HUTTOFT BEACH
17 min drive from Mablethorpe Chalet & Caravan Park
If you fancy trying out sea fishing on your holiday then Moggs Eye (Huttoft) is the beach for you. Many locals and holiday makers head to this stretch of golden sand to try their luck and skill at landing themselves a fresh and tasty dinner. You could catch mackerel, sea bass, gurnard or codling, to name a few.
5. Chapel Six Marshes
23 min drive from Mablethorpe Chalet & Caravan Park
Chapel Six Marshes takes its name from the marshlands which are directly behind the sand dunes. This area is a wildlife haven and some have claimed to have seen seals from the shore. Recently a ‘Sound Tower’ landmark has been installed on the beach. It was designed as a viewing tower and to resonate the sound of the wind that blows so strongly along this part of the land. If you are planning on staying there for the day, make sure you bring your windbreak!
6. Gibraltar Point
49 min drive from Mablethorpe Chalet & Caravan Park
Gibraltar Point is a coastal nature reserve with a visitors centre and bird observatory. This beach is a fantastic spot for nature lovers, wildlife watchers and walkers. There are vast areas of open grassland which are home to rare wildflowers and insects. The saltmarsh makes a great home for birds. While you are there you may spot skylark, meadow pipit, little tern or ringed plover, sit quietly with your binoculars and marvel at the stunning birds and their displays.
7. Mablethorpe Beach

How could we not mention our beloved Mablethorpe Beach? Just a 10 - 15 minute walk from Mablethorpe Chalet and Caravan Park, depending on which part of the beach you go to, it is a large and sandy stretch of the Lincolnshire coastline. The seaside town of Mablethorpe has all of your expected attractions from arcades to crazy golf, restaurants to cafes. And just a few minutes walk away is the peace and quiet of the waves and the dunes. We love Mablethorpe Beach the best, but we may be a little biased!
